MOSS Member: Perks & Policies

As a subscribed MOSS MEMBER, you have the following perks at your disposal, within the mentioned policies:
  1. 8 Hours Free Booking Time: When you are booking a session and using your free 8 hours, you must use your MOSS MEMBER ID# ("CERTIFICATE CODE") at checkout to use the free hours available to you. They are available at the start of your billing cycle and WILL NOT CARRY OVER to the next month if unused. NO GUESTS ARE PERMITTED.

  2. 50% Discount For All Services: Your discount will be available as soon as your membership is created and will be shared in your welcome email. The discount will only apply to services and add-ons booked for your own personal use. You will be penalized and may have your membership revoked if it is shared or used on someone else's behalf. Enter your discount when checking out to apply it to any service or add-on!

  3. Full Event Access: You will be notified and have full free access to all MOSS events. A PLUS ONE FOR EACH MEMBER IS PERMITTED.

NOTE: Your Membership can be closed by staff or admin for violations of both the above and following policies.

Member Challenges: Rewards & Policies

  • MOSS Members who successfully complete and submit challenges will be awarded a free 2 Hour Members Session (added to the upcoming month).

  • Submissions must be uploaded before midnight on the last day of each month to qualify for the rewards (Submission period begins after midnight on the first day of each month).

  • Rewards are eligible for one member per submission (duplicates are not eligible).

  • Submissions will only qualify if entered through the Submission Portal on the “Challenges” page of our website.

  • Only one submission per Challenge will be eligible for rewards each month.

MOSS Headquarters: Policies & Etiquette

MUSIC ONE STOP SHOP is a professional creative space and audio recording facility. Client services and satisfaction are a top priority. Adhering to company policies will ensure that all sessions and events are conducted in the most professional manner while providing all clients a fun, productive, and comfortable environment.

Headquarters Etiquette

  • Together we create a diverse network of creative beginners and professionals. We strive to maintain an inspiring and respectful space for the community. Integrity is a must. Be confident, tap-in, and HAVE FUN. We want you to get the most out of your experience at MOSS, let us know how we can help with that!

Smoking and/or Drug Use

  • NO SMOKING IN STUDIO. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON COMPANY PREMISES OR WITHIN VISIBLE DISTANCE OF THE MAIN ENTRYWAY. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited and we reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a session if a client appears heavily intoxicated or belligerent.

Client and Member Safety

  • NO FIREARMS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. It is recommended that only individuals essential to creative production be present during the booked time, guests must be approved by a staff member.

Information Collection and Use

  • To ensure the best experience and protect MOSS Members, we may require you to provide us with personally identifiable information. A copy of a state issued ID/DL may be kept on file with your membership as well as name, phone number, and physical address of approved guests. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you if necessary.

Food/Drink

  • OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINK IS PERMITTED IN OFFICE AND LOUNGE AREAS, BUT IS PROHIBITED IN CREATOR ROOMS AND MUST BE KEPT AWAY FROM EQUIPMENT AND RECORDING CONSOLES. Please discard your unwanted trash in trash bins provided. Clean up any remnants of food and drink, if assistance is needed please notify a staff member. You may use the kitchen appliances in the lounge to heat and/or refrigerate items during your visit. Please take any food/drink items with you upon departure or items may be discarded.

Creator Rooms/Booking Time

  • Please arrive on time and use your booking productively. Time will not be extended past bookings, unless approved by staff, as this may interfere with scheduling. If approved by staff, payment for additional time will be due immediately. Member hours will not roll over to the next month, so plan out your time during the designated calendar month. Keep in mind, there are engineers, song writers, producers, videographers, photographers, editors, and more within reach. If you need assistance with a project, please notify a staff member in advance and we will try our best to get you connected.

Equipment/Property

  • ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE HANDLED WITH CARE. We want to continuously provide quality equipment to all creators and visitors. If you need assistance, please notify a staff member right away. Disrespect of office or company property is not tolerated. Leave space the same way you entered and return equipment back to the original setting if applicable. You may bring your own equipment, but MOSS is not responsible for your personal property if left unattended or left behind.

Accessibility

  • We aim to provide access and reasonable accommodations to ensure use of the facility and services for all individuals. MOSS Headquarters is wheelchair accessible with elevator access, please see a staff member if further assistance is needed.

Security Recording

  • The MOSS facility is under video surveillance at all times. If violations occur, we reserve the right to address the concern with you or possibly terminate membership.
